The photo above is of me working on a commission piece for someone who had lost their son. They only supplied a few grainy photos of their son, for me to create a portrait from. This had many challenges but the customer was happy with the end result.

The best portraits are created not just from pictures, but spending time with someone to glimpse their character. This makes working from just photos a little harder and challenges my skill set, which is something I always enjoy.
